10. The King’s Man (September 18th)

Matthew Vaughn knows how to keep things fresh. His films always brim with his unique style and energy. So far, the Kingsman franchise has been nothing short of entertaining, with brilliant action set pieces and Vaughn’s trademark style. 9. Dune (December 18th)

1984’s Dune was years ahead of its time met with mixed reviews and decades later is ripe for a reboot. David Lynch brought the sci-fi fantasy to life in 1984 and there is no one better working in Hollywood today to rebuild that world than Denis Villeneuve, the mind behind Blade Runner 2049 and Arrival.

8. Birds of Prey (February 7th)

Margot Robbie brought a powerful, unpredictable performance in Suicide Squad as Harley Quinn. The first teasers and posters of Birds of Prey convey a similar insanity that makes the characters so compelling. This time around it’s not just Harley Quinn, Birds of Prey introduces audiences to Huntress (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), Black Canary (Jurnee Smollet-Bell) and Black Mask (Ewan McGregor).

7. Ghostbusters: Afterlife (July 8th)

Directed by Jason Reitman, Ghostbusters: Afterlife brings together the original cast as well as Finn Wolfhard and Paul Rudd. Despite a soft reboot in 2016, fans were eager to see the original trio back in action. 2020 will see those prayers answered as Bill Murray and the gang get back to busting ghosts.

6. Black Widow (May 1st)

Easily one of the most anticipated solo films in the MCU for a long time, Black Widow takes us to Natasha Romanoff’s mysterious past. With what seems to be a more grounded take on the character with intense action Black Widow is likely to give audiences a glimpse into the origins of one of the most loved Avengers.

5. A Quiet Place II (March 18th)

John Krasinski’s directorial debut was one of the tightest films of the year in 2018, A Quiet Place was a unique horror sci-fi experience that used silence to build a constant tension. The sequel helmed again by Krasinski promises more tension as a family struggles to survive in a silent world plagued with aliens.

4. Top Gun Maverick (June 26th)

Released in 1986 Top Gun propelled Tom Cruise to stardom, a status he has maintained three decades later. Tom Cruise returns to the role of Maverick and with a trailer that gave us a glimpse into the action thrill ride that only Cruise is capable of, Top Gun Maverick is sure to entertain.

2. No Time to Die (April 8th)

Bond is back. After numerous delays, a change in director we finally got our first glimpse of No Time to Die. In what is most likely Daniel Craig’s last outing as 007, No Time to Die appears nothing short of classic Bond with death-defying stunts and the piercing intensity Craig brings to his version of Bond. Five years since the last time we heard the classic theme, five years since we last saw the classic barrel, we can’t wait!
